Bumper Sticker Design

These are my two submissions for the Global Inheritance / Coachella bumper sticker contest this year. It took me a bit to land on the direction for each design, but I knew I wanted something tied to cars, road trips, and that “festival-bound” energy. I ended up going with license plate inspired bumper stickers something that felt both nostalgic and instantly recognizable. Each design pulls from different eras of California plates, blending past and present styles. The top design is based on California’s 1993–2026 license plate look, while the bottom design takes inspiration from the original 1982 plate, especially in the background styling. I also included a reference image showing both past and present California plates for comparison. Overall, I’m really happy with how these turned out. Both designs were created in Procreate. More about these soon!
