Whether I’m working digitally or with traditional media, every piece goes through a series of stages—each one playing a vital role in shaping the final image. My favorite stage is the first: laying down the foundation. The mental process of developing that initial structure can be both challenging and exciting. To me, that’s where true creativity lives. A strong rough draft almost always leads to an outstanding final design."

  • This is the initial design phase were the base of the design is sketched out.

  • Hard outline to define image but ultimately may have minor changes.

  • General first layer of any color.

  • Any Shadows, Shades or Fades needed over original colors. Adding depth and disclosing light position.

  • Final details adding or removing different variables. Proper font style and placement if needed.
